Stainless Steel Flange Plunger Valve U41SM, U41H, U41Y Structure and Features

The plunger valve consists of a valve body, valve cover, valve stem, plunger, orifice frame, sealing ring, handwheel, and other components (as shown in the figure). When the handwheel is rotated, the valve stem drives the plunger to move up and down within the orifice frame to open and close the valve.
The plunger and sealing ring in the valve are interference-fitted. By adjusting the flange bolts on the gland, the lateral force generated by compressing the sealing ring ensures sealing between the valve body's inner bore surface and the plunger's outer circle, thus guaranteeing the valve's sealing performance, eliminating internal leakage, and enabling quick opening and closing with low torque.
Since the sealing ring is made of highly resilient and wear-resistant non-metallic sealing material, it maintains elasticity under long-term high temperature and high pressure, ensuring reliable sealing.

● All plunger valves produced by our company are tested and accepted according to ZBJ16006 before leaving the factory. During use, only the exterior and cavity need to be cleaned; disassembly and replacement are not required.
● The plunger valve can be installed in any position. The medium flow direction is indicated by an arrow on the valve body.
● If the sealing ring wears or leaks after a period of use, first close the valve, then evenly tighten the flange bolts slightly until the leakage stops. When replacing, avoid cracks or damage to the plunger and the new sealing ring.
● The plunger valve should not be used in pipelines with significant temperature fluctuations between hot and cold in a short time.
