Lever float steam traps GH3, GH4, GH5 / G3, G4 lever float steam traps / stainless steel lever float steam traps / large-capacity lever float steam traps are widely used in industrial steam heating equipment, various large heat exchangers, dryers, jacketed pots, etc., especially in applications with high condensate discharge. They can fully discharge large amounts of condensate without the need for adjustment or replacement of internal parts across the entire working pressure range. The subcooling degree of lever float steam traps can reach 0°C, making them particularly suitable for applications with high condensate volumes.
Structural Features:
1. Utilizes a rolling valve mechanism (new SCCV switching method), offering excellent sealing and durability.
2. Balanced double-seat design, providing a smaller size and larger discharge capacity compared to conventional steam traps, with superior performance in high-capacity applications.
3. Built-in bimetal automatic air vent valve prevents air binding and steam locking.
4. Features a unique U-shaped bimetal vent, significantly reducing equipment startup time.
5. All components are mounted on the valve cover, allowing maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline, making it simple and convenient.
Differences between Single-Seat and Double-Seat Steam Traps:
1. Single-seat lever float steam traps feature spherical sealing with no concentrated wear, offering a soft landing when closing the valve seat hole, thereby extending service life.
2. Double-seat lever float steam traps employ "fully balanced double-seat" technology, ensuring smooth and reliable opening and closing actions, maintaining long-term excellent performance, and demonstrating superior capabilities in applications requiring high condensate discharge.
3. The automatic air vent device uses the third-generation spherical sealing Y-series element, capable of discharging non-condensable cold and hot gases, with high pressure resistance, strong water hammer resistance, sensitive and reliable operation, and long service life.
Usage and Maintenance:
1. Correct installation and maintenance of this steam trap are essential for safe and normal operation.
2. Ensure the valve body material, maximum pressure, and temperature meet the requirements of the working conditions.
3. Clean the pipeline before installation to remove any debris.
4. The float steam trap should be installed as close as possible to the heating equipment.
5. The steam trap should be installed horizontally at the lowest point of the pipeline, with the flow direction consistent with the marking on the valve body.
6. After correct installation, slowly open the valve in front of the steam trap to gradually heat it to normal operating conditions.
