I. Product Overview:

The CS15H free semi-float ball steam trap is suitable for steam heating equipment and steam pipelines. It automatically discharges condensate, prevents steam leakage, and automatically removes air. Widely used in chemical, petroleum refining, power, light textile, papermaking, and other industrial enterprises, it is particularly suitable for steam equipment with low pressure, high discharge capacity, high temperature stability requirements, and where condensate should not accumulate.
II. Working Principle:

When the steam trap is not in operation, the free semi-float ball rests on the emission tube. When the trap is in the drainage state, steam enters the valve body through the filter and emission tube. As the steam volume increases, buoyancy causes the semi-float ball to rise. Under steam pressure, the semi-float ball closes against the drain nozzle, preventing steam escape. When a large amount of condensate enters the valve body, the steam volume inside the semi-float ball decreases, causing it to descend under its own weight and detach from the drain nozzle, completing one working cycle. This process repeats continuously to achieve automatic drainage and steam blocking.

III. Structural Features:

The internal structure has only one semi-float ball bucket as the moving part, with the opening facing downward. The outer surface of the semi-float ball bucket is finely ground, and the entire spherical surface serves as the sealing surface. It has a long service life, is resistant to water hammer, has no vulnerable parts, is trouble-free, durable, prevents steam leakage, and offers excellent energy-saving performance.
