Imported National Standard Bellows Steam Trap Series CS16H CS46H steam pressure balanced type is currently the most commonly used advanced energy-saving steam trap internationally. The bellows steam trap responds very sensitively, with high-temperature condensate present before the valve during operation, no steam leakage, and significant energy-saving effects.
The advantages of the bellows steam trap are: automatic air venting, compact size, freeze resistance, and can be installed in any position; easy maintenance, allowing inspection, repair, and part replacement on the pipeline; maximum backpressure rate ≤80%, durable bellows, and long service life. The bellows steam trap is suitable for steam main lines, steam tracing pipelines, instrument tracing, and condensate drainage for small heating equipment, with a wide range of applications.
Working Principle
The main operating component of the bellows steam trap is a metal bellows filled with a liquid that vaporizes at a temperature lower than the saturation temperature of water. When the device starts, low-temperature condensate appears in the pipeline, and the liquid inside the bellows is in a condensed state. The valve remains open. As the condensate temperature gradually rises, the liquid inside the bellows begins to evaporate, increasing the pressure inside the bellows. The diaphragm drives the valve core toward the closed position. Before the condensate reaches the saturation temperature, the steam trap fully closes. The bellows controls the valve opening and closing according to the steam temperature, serving to block steam and drain condensate. There are two types of bellows available: one with an opening temperature 15°C below the saturation temperature and another 30°C below.
