SEM1605P is Status Instruments' new generation of DIN rail-mounted temperature transmitters. Designed to accept common RTD temperature sensor inputs and provide users with a standard two-wire (4 to 20) mA output signal.

All temperature ranges are linear with temperature. Our new USB interface is designed for ease of use, enabling quick and easy configuration. Simply connect a standard USB cable between the SEM1605P and your PC. Our free configuration software will guide you through any changes you wish to make. To further save time, the SEM1605P does not need to be connected to a power supply during configuration; it is powered via the PC's USB interface.

Active Range

The SEM1605P features a user button ranging option, allowing adjustments at 4 mA and 20 mA to obtain real-time values.

If not required, the "User Adjustment" function can be locked during configuration. A status LED indicates out-of-range inputs during normal operation and is also used to indicate the adjustment phase during "User Adjustment."

4 and 20mA TRIM

These buttons can also be used for 4 mA and 20 mA current trim adjustments, allowing small offsets to be added to the (4 or 20) mA output.

Sensor Reference

The SEM1605P sensor is referenced via Windows-based USBSpeedlink software, enabling close matching with a known reference sensor and eliminating potential sensor errors.

Sensor Burnout Detection

If the sensor leads break or become disconnected, the SEM1605P output will automatically go to a user-defined level (upper or lower limit) or a preset value.
