HS-3TADSL2+ Tester Product Introduction

The HS-3T ADSL2+ tester can not only test ADSL2+/ADSL link physical layer parameters but also perform alarm analysis on these parameters. It features a flexible keyboard input, allowing testers to easily modify parameters such as username, password, VPI/VCI, and alarm thresholds. With 7 built-in sets of VPI/VCI parameters and 7 sets of PPP dial-up connections, it meets the needs of different users without frequent configuration. The DMM test can measure line voltage, loop resistance, capacitance, and insulation parameters, and also estimate line length. Equipped with a modem simulation function (optional), it can automatically set the auto-shutdown time. It is easy to operate, provides intuitive test results, and meets the installation and maintenance needs of various xDSL lines. It is particularly suitable for on-site device activation, project acceptance, and daily maintenance. Widely applicable to ADSL2+ service operators such as telecom and China Railcom, it meets the needs of various frontline installation and maintenance personnel!

HS-3TADSL2+ Tester Main Features

◆xDSL Testing:

☆ View Parameters: Can test physical layer parameters such as current upstream/downstream rate, maximum rate, line attenuation, noise margin, and output power after connection.

☆ Set Thresholds: Allows setting parameter threshold values for alarm analysis of various physical layer parameters.

☆ Alarm Analysis: Performs data test alarm analysis based on set physical layer parameter thresholds and current test results, directly displaying OK or out-of-limit values. Also displays line capacity ratio.

◆ Bit Distribution:

☆ Graphical Display: Intuitively displays subchannel bit distribution graphically.

☆ Data Query: Allows querying each subchannel's number, frequency point, and allocated bit count individually via data query.

◆ Error Test:

Can test near-end and far-end CRC, HEC, FEC, NCD, and OCD errors after connection, cumulatively counting various error types.

◆ Record Browsing:

☆ Local Browsing: View saved test data directly on the tester by record number. The tester stores up to 99 test records.

☆ Record Upload: Upload saved test records to a computer via RS232 serial port for unified archiving, analysis, viewing, and PC printing using backend management software.

☆ Record Clear: Clear all stored test records in the tester.

◆DMM Testing(Optional):

Can test electrical parameters such as AC/DC voltage, loop resistance, capacitance, and insulation. In loop resistance and capacitance testing modes, it automatically converts results to estimate line length for reference. This optional feature can be added based on user needs. Models without this function are labeled HS-3S, with all other functions identical.

◆ Dial-up Testing:

Uses built-in modem for PPPoE or PPPoA dial-up. Manual dial initiation/termination and query of assigned IP information, including local IP, peer IP, DNS1, and DNS2 addresses. The tester can perform round-robin dialing using 7 built-in VPI/VCI parameter sets, eliminating frequent VPI/VCI changes when testing different central offices. Simulates PC+Modem functionality.

◆Ping Testing:

☆ LAN Ping: Ping test PCs or devices within a LAN to verify connectivity. The tester allows modification of local IP and subnet mask for different LANs, overcoming limitations of fixed IP addresses for LAN Ping operations.

☆ WAN Ping: Perform WAN Ping tests after successful dial-up. Supports Ping tests for both IP addresses and domain names. For user convenience, it includes three preset common domain names (e.g., NetEase, Baidu) for Ping testing without repeated input.

For all Ping tests, users can set ICMP packet size, number of Ping requests, and view domain name resolution IP addresses, along with statistics on sent/received packets and packet loss percentage.

☆ Local IP Management: Read or modify local IP address and subnet mask to facilitate LAN Ping testing.

◆ System Configuration:

☆ Priority Adaptation Standard: Set built-in modem to Adsl2+ auto-adaptation or multi-mode priority standards for compatibility with various central office equipment.

☆ Authentication Information Management: Read or modify built-in dial-up account and password locally, as well as dial-up authentication methods (PAP/CHAP). Also configurable via backend management software. The built-in keyboard allows flexible, on-the-fly changes to authentication information, verifying individual user credentials easily.

☆VPI/VCI Management: The tester includes 7 sets of VPI/VCI parameters, which can be read or modified locally or via backend management software. Simplifies testing by reducing frequent configuration changes.

☆ Auto-shutdown Time: Set auto-shutdown time to meet different user needs.

☆ Keypress Tone Setting: Enable or disable keypress tones to suit different environments.

◆ Line Voltage Indicator:

Lights up when DC voltage is present (DC >7V±1V). Verifies whether xDSL lines with bound voice services are disconnected or crossed, or checks if normal data lines have bound voice services.

◆ Others:

☆ Modem Simulation Function: Replaces user modems for simulation testing, operating in bridging or routing mode. Intuitively verifies user modem functionality.

☆ Backlight: LCD LED backlight automatically turns off after 15 seconds of inactivity. Suitable for daytime and nighttime testing.

☆ Contrast: Adjust LCD contrast at any time during operation to ensure clear display visibility.

☆DHCP Server: Built-in DHCP Server automatically configures IP addresses for PCs within the network.
