I. Product Introduction
A lightning protection tower is a common tower-type protective device against lightning strikes. Also known as: lightning rod tower, steel structure lightning rod, tower-type lightning rod.
There are four specifications of lightning protection towers:

The protection range of a lightning rod tower should be calculated using the rolling sphere method to determine the protection radius and coverage area. III. Lightning Protection Principle
The lightning current receptor is a non-inductive, low-impedance metal inner conductor down conductor that transmits the lightning current to the ground, preventing side strikes and electrification of the protected antenna tower or building. In most cases, the impact of the electrostatic field cable is less than 1/10 of the tower impedance, avoiding electrification of the building or tower, eliminating flashover, limiting ground penetration, and reducing the risk of backflash and induced overvoltage to the protected equipment. The protection range is calculated according to the national standard GB50057-2010 rolling sphere radius method.
