Principle:
The zero speed switch is installed on the driven wheel of the conveying equipment, connected via a coupling between the driven wheel shaft and the zero speed switch shaft, rotating together with the driven wheel. When the conveyor belt slips or the wheel malfunctions, the zero speed switch provides a signal, enabling timely detection of faults, effective safety monitoring of the conveyor equipment, and facilitating PLC automated control.
When connecting the power supply and control circuit, refer to the wiring diagram. This product features imported miniature relays for direct isolation, ensuring no interference or impact on the control system, providing safety and reliability. The circuit board is equipped with two miniature relays, allowing adjustment of time constants and pulse counts based on the actual speed of the monitored equipment to set the speed. When abnormalities occur in the monitored equipment, both relays activate and provide signals.
Features:
This product uses an aluminum alloy housing with a protection rating of IP-65. It is compact, lightweight, durable, easy to install, and operates safely and stably in dusty and harsh environments. It features dustproof, waterproof, and high-temperature resistance from -45°C to 95°C.

Application Scope:
Monitoring and protection for various conveyors during slippage, low speed, or overload conditions. Applicable to chain conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, rotary feed valves, etc.
Usage Method
1. Connection method: Secure the zero speed switch to an L-shaped connecting plate using four M8 screws. The holes on the L-shaped plate are elongated for easy left-right and front-back adjustments.
2. Connect the zero speed switch to the driven wheel using a coupling at the shaft end.
3. Wiring method: The zero speed switch has 8 output wires: 2 for power, 2 for normally open contacts, 2 for normally closed contacts, and 2 for common terminals.

Zero Speed Switch Adjustment Method:
1. After powering on, there is a 1-3 minute delay before the device enters normal operation. (Alarm delay can be customized according to user requirements.)
2. When switch S1 is set to the middle position, it is in high-speed mode; to the left, medium-speed mode; to the right, low-speed mode.
3. Green light indicates normal operation, with terminals 3-5 and 6-8 connected. When the green light is off, a fault is detected, with terminals 3-4 and 8-7 connected.
4. Yellow light indicates the speed level (fast or slow).
5. Adjust the RZ2 1MΩ potentiometer to set the alarm speed for the equipment. Clockwise adjustment sets a faster alarm speed, counterclockwise sets a slower alarm speed. Once set, if the equipment operates below the set speed, an alarm signal is triggered. The RZ1 500KΩ potentiometer is pre-adjusted at the factory.
