The Hall element AR251 is a Hall IC designed and manufactured based on CMOS technology. The component integrates a Hall effect plate, voltage regulator, sleep-wake control circuit, signal amplification and filtering circuit, offset compensation circuit, Schmitt trigger, and complementary push-pull output. It is a dual magnetic polarity magnetic induction switch capable of sensing the magnetic field strength of both the N and S poles of a magnet. The AR251 operates through periodic sleep and wake cycles to achieve reduced power consumption. During the wake period, it detects the ambient magnetic field strength, while in sleep mode, it maintains the last output state.
The Hall magnetic switch AR251 is available in TSOT-23, TO-92S, and ultra-small, ultra-thin DFN packages, making it suitable for increasingly lightweight and thin portable mobile devices. All packages comply with RoHS environmental standards. Low power consumption, IDD=5uA.
