1. Product Description
In flue gas desulfurization absorption towers, due to the high-speed reverse mixing of gas and liquid, combined with large amounts of dust in the flue gas, a large amount of foam is continuously generated, causing significant loss of neutralizing substances and cooling water, while significantly reducing reaction rates and product recovery rates. At the same time, the large amount of foam leakage also poses significant safety hazards and power losses to the motor room beneath the cooling tower. Adding defoamers inside the desulfurization tower can effectively improve the efficiency of cooling water and absorbent applications, significantly reduce the frequency and number of circulating water pumps to start, greatly increase the output of sulfates and other products, and at the same time reduce on-site labor maintenance costs, thereby enhancing overall efficiency.

3. Instructions for Use
1) Entry point: in the process recharge water pit;
2) Addition method: Use intermittent periodic impulse dosing or continuous dosing with metering pumps;
3) Dosing amount: When foaming and overflow initially occur in the absorption tower, a large amount needs to be added. Subsequent dosage should be determined based on the composition of the foaming agent, flue gas volume, coal composition, combustion process, absorbent, and sulfur dioxide amount. The user unit can finalize the dosing based on actual conditions (recommended dosage is 20ppm-50ppm);
4) Dosing frequency: Generally twice daily, once per shift; the specific dosing frequency depends on the bubble formation in the absorption tower.
4. Packaging and storage
The defoamer EXN-903 for desulfurization systems is generally packaged in 25L clinker barrels, but can also be customized according to specific customer requirements.
