1, Property and Uses
▲ EQ-505 is a high-pH liquid formulation mainly designed to remove organic matter, colloids, microorganisms, bacteria, and particulate matter. It is suitable for aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membranes, hollow fiber membranes, as well as sodium filtration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF); It can shorten mixing time, raise the temperature, and achieve better results. Excellent cleaning can extend the film's operating time.
▲ This product works well when used together with the EQ-501; It can efficiently remove oil and organic matter from the membrane surface, and is particularly effective for removing biomucous membranes on the membrane surface; The diluent pH is adjusted to maintain between 11~12;

3. Add-on Instructions
Based on the water quality analysis report and system conditions, calculate an appropriate dosing concentration; typically, the concentration of this agent in the tank is 2~4%.
4. Cleaning instructions
▲ Before cleaning, it is essential to basically clarify the type of contamination in the RO membrane element and the cause of the contamination, and to address the issue accordingly;
▲ After cleaning, analyze the causes of contamination and implement corresponding pretreatment and defense measures;
▲ During cleaning, the temperature of the cleaning solution must always be kept within the required range (25~35°C);
▲ The cleaning flow rate should be based on the recommended values from the membrane manufacturer or chemical supplier. Additionally, the flow rate and soaking time should be determined based on the type and degree of contamination by the membrane element (if this recommended value is not available, our technical engineers can provide guidance based on the actual system conditions);
▲ For multi-stage RO systems, it's best to clean each section separately for maximum effectiveness. If the washing solution becomes cloudy or the pH exceeds the recommended range, it needs to be remixed
For cleaning fluids or supplementary cleaning agents, the system must be flushed with RO-produced water before being restarted.
5 . Packaging and storage
※ Stable physical and chemical properties, stored in a cool place, shelf life is 1 year.
※ Packaged in plastic drums, 25 kg or 20 kg per drum;
6 . Safety and protection
This product is alkaline. Use labor protection during handling, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water after contact.
