1, Property and Uses
Exlen acid cleaning corrosion inhibitor HS-717 belongs to the imidazoline class. When acid cleaning metals is used, adding this inhibitor can delay acid corrosion of steel. The prerequisite for using pickling corrosion inhibitors is that the cleaning medium is hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, or aminosulfonic acid, and the base material for cleaning is ferrous metal.
HS-717 pickling corrosion inhibitor is suitable for pickling various models of high, medium, and low-pressure boilers, as well as for large equipment and pipelines. Corrosion performance in acid solution (dosage 1-3‰) and corrosion rate ≤ 1g/m2•h.
2, Technical index
| Item | Index |
| Appearance | Amber-colored liquid |
| Specific gravity (25°C g/cm3) | 3.0±1.5 |
| Solid content % ≥ | 20 |
3. How to Use
Recommended by Exlen technical engineers; actual usage is determined according to specific test conditions; Generally, acid solution is added first and thoroughly stirred by acid inhibitors, then the acid solution is added. This minimizes the reduction of acid mist, which is especially important for volatile acids like hydrochloric acid and nitric acid.
4. Packaging and Storage
HS-717 pickling corrosion inhibitor is packaged in plastic barrels, 25Kg/barrel; Stable physicochemical properties, stored in a cool place with a shelf life of 1 year.
5. Safety and protection
Pay attention to labor protection during operation, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water after contact.
