Property and Uses
Copper corrosion inhibitor MBT can be used as a copper corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water systems. The corrosion inhibitory effect mainly relies on chemical adsorption with active copper atoms or copper ions on the surface of metallic copper. or chelation can occur, forming a dense and strong protective film, providing good protection for copper equipment, with a typical usage rate of 2mg/L. It can also be used with vulcanized rubber accelerators, plasticizers, acidic copper plating photoresists, and similar applications.

How to use
Corrosion inhibitor: MBT is dissolved in alcohol or alkali and added to circulating water, with a concentration of 2-10 mg/L. If the heavy non-ferrous metals in the water system have already been severely corroded, this product can be added at 5-10 times the normal concentration to rapidly passivate the system.
Packaging and storage
Corrosion inhibitor MBT is packaged in woven composite plastic bags, each bag weighing 25kg. Store in a cool, dry place with a shelf life of twelve months.
