Property and Uses

EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphate salt, which belongs to the cathodic type of corrosion inhibitor. Compared with inorganic polyphosphate, its corrosion rate is 3-5 times higher. It can be mixed with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with good chemical stability and heat resistance, and still has good scale inhibition effect at 200°C. In water solution, it can be dissociated into 8 positive and negative ions, so it can chelate with multiple metal ions, forming multiple monomer structure macromolecular network complexes, which are loosely scattered in water, destroying normal crystallization. And this product has good scale inhibition effect on calcium sulfate, barium sulfate scale.
EDTMPS is used as a corrosion inhibitor and scale inhibitor for circulating water and boiler water, a chelating agent for cyanide-free electroplating, a chelating agent and oxygen bleaching stabilizer for the textile printing and dyeing industry.

How to use

When added alone to circulating cooling water, the general dose is 2-10mg/L. When EDTMPS and HP MA are mixed in a ratio of 1:3, it can be used for water treatment in low-pressure boilers. This product can also be mixed with BTA, PAAS, zinc salts, etc.

Packaging and storage

This product is packed in plastic drums, each drum contains 25kg or determined according to the user's needs. Store in a cool place indoors, with a storage period of six months.

Safety protection

This product is weakly alkaline, pay attention to labor protection during operation, and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc., and immediately wash with plenty of water after contact.
