III. Usage Description

EQ-512 is a high-pH liquid formulation primarily used to remove oil, organic matter, colloids, microorganisms, and particulate matter. It is suitable for various types of EDI systems. Excellent cleaning performance can extend the operational time and service life of EDI membrane modules.

IV. Dilution

The typical dilution ratio is 1.0~3.0% of the total cleaning solution.

V. Cleaning Instructions

▲ Inspect and flush the entire EDI cleaning system to ensure cleanliness;

▲ Before cleaning, it is essential to identify the type of contamination affecting the EDI module and the cause. Address the issue specifically; avoid blind cleaning. After cleaning, analyze the cause of contamination and implement appropriate pretreatment preventive measures;

▲ During cleaning, maintain the temperature of the cleaning solution within the required range (15~38°C);

▲ Use the flow rate recommended by the EDI manufacturer or chemical supplier. Adjust the flow rate and soaking time based on the type and severity of contamination. If no recommendation is available, Exlen Water's technical engineers can provide guidance based on the system's actual conditions;

▲ For severely contaminated systems, consult the chemical or EDI supplier for a better cleaning plan;

▲ Before putting the system back into operation, rinse with EDI product water until TDS levels do not exceed 5ppm and the pH is within the normal range.

VI. Packaging Specifications

EDI Special Cleaner is packaged in plastic drums, 25 kg/drum. It has stable physicochemical properties and should be stored in a cool place. Shelf life is 3 years.
