Performance and Use: This product is a small-molecule carbon source supplement that is efficient, fast, low-consumption, and non-toxic. The primary function of the carbon source supplement is to remove total nitrogen.
It combines the advantages of several external carbon source agents, with stable chemical properties, fast denitrification rate, low sludge production, rapid adaptation of sludge microorganisms, and excellent nitrogen removal effect. The treatment cost is lower than that of other conventional carbon source agents. It is suitable for emergency dosing in sewage treatment plants, meeting water quality discharge requirements while achieving maximum economic efficiency. It is a stable, low-cost carbon source supplement.
Biological nitrogen removal requires the completion of two processes: nitrification and denitrification. Ammonia nitrogen in wastewater must first be nitrified or converted into nitrite and nitrate. Then, during the denitrification process, nitrate is reduced to nitrogen gas as an electron acceptor in the cellular respiration process, oxidizing simple carbon compounds. Therefore, the denitrification process aimed at removing nitrate must have readily biodegradable carbon sources present. These sources include dissolved BOD in the influent, cellular decay products during endogenous denitrification, and various supernatant returns. When the dissolved organic matter in the influent is insufficient and the nitrogen removal requirements are high, it is necessary to supplement chemicals to provide the carbon source required for the denitrification process. This composite carbon source agent is an amber-colored liquid with a pH (1% aqueous solution) of 5.0-7.0. It is suitable for municipal sewage and industrial wastewater, supplementing the carbon source in wastewater and adjusting the nutritional ratio required for microbial nitrogen removal.
Usage and Dosage: Municipal sewage: 0.1-0.25 kg liquid/ton of water; Industrial wastewater: ≥0.15 kg/ton of water.
The selection of the dosing point for this product is related to the properties of the agent, hydraulic conditions, and the degree of water pollution:
1. The dosing point is generally chosen in the anoxic zone, where the chemical consumption is the lowest, and the impact on water quality is minimal;
2. Hydraulic conditions: The mixing intensity should be high, and the time should be short to ensure thorough mixing of the agent and water;
3. When the water pollution level is high and difficult to treat, since this agent is neutral and has strong resistance to water quality fluctuations, it does not affect the effluent quality. The dosage can be continuously increased to ensure that the effluent meets discharge standards.
Packaging and Storage: This product is packaged in plastic barrels, 25 kg, ton barrels, or as per customer requirements. It should be stored at room temperature with a shelf life of 12 months. This product is non-toxic but should avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
