Boiler-Specific High-Temperature Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor (Liquid Acidic) AG-990

I. Performance and Uses
▲ Boiler-specific corrosion and scale inhibitor AG-990 is a composite product composed of organic phosphonic acid, polycarboxylic acid, and other high polymers. It exhibits excellent corrosion inhibition and scale prevention properties, with particularly outstanding temperature resistance. It can be effectively applied in the internal water treatment of both high and low-pressure boilers;

▲ Applicable boilers include hot water heating, steam, and locomotive boilers, among others. Boiler-specific corrosion and scale inhibitor AG-990 can also be used for corrosion and scale inhibition in systems such as seawater desalination, distillation, and automobile radiators.

III. Usage Method
▲ Add the agent to the boiler makeup water at a ratio of 200g per ton of water. During use, ensure regular blowdown, requiring blowdown once per hour for 5 to 10 seconds each time. If the boiler is operating with existing scale, increase the dosage of the agent and perform more frequent blowdown. After 10 to 20 days of operation, the boiler should be shut down, and the dislodged scale should be manually cleaned to prevent clogging of the pipelines. Then, resume normal operation;

▲ If conditions permit, measure the concentration ratio of the boiler water and control it to around 10 times. Adjust other parameters in accordance with the relevant regulations of the labor department (e.g., boiler water pH 10–12, etc.);

▲ The chemical dosing tank should be made of plastic. Concrete tanks should be treated with anti-corrosion coatings; otherwise, they may be eroded by the agent, leading to an increase in water hardness;
▲ The total hardness of the boiler makeup water should be controlled within 200mg/L. If the hardness is too high, use lime treatment or other methods to reduce hardness; otherwise, the scale inhibition effect of boiler-specific corrosion and scale inhibitor AG-990 may be compromised.
IV. Packaging and Storage
※ Boiler-specific corrosion and scale inhibitor AG-990 is packaged in plastic drums, 25kg per drum or as per customer requirements;

※   Store in a cool place with a shelf life of twelve months.
V. Safety and Protection
AG-990 is weakly acidic. Pay attention to labor protection during operation and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
