I. Properties and Uses

This product is a white granule or powder formed by copolymerization of cationic monomers and acrylamide, followed by granulation, drying, and crushing. Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer compound. Due to its various active groups, it can interact with and adsorb many substances to form hydrogen bonds. It primarily flocculates negatively charged colloids and functions in turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption, and bonding. It is suitable for wastewater treatment in industries such as dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil fields, aquatic product processing, and fermentation, especially for the dehydration treatment of urban sewage, urban sludge, papermaking sludge, and other industrial sludges.

1.First, determine the product specification and dosage through small-scale testing.

2.When using, the solution concentration is generally 1-3‰. The dissolution water temperature should be controlled between 18-40°C, and the stirring speed should generally be 80-200 r/min. Neutral, low-hardness water is recommended for preparation.

3.Since iron ions are catalysts for the chemical degradation of polyacrylamide, contact with iron ions should be avoided during preparation, transportation, and storage. Stainless steel, plastic, or carbon steel products coated with resin are recommended.

4.Polyacrylamide aqueous solutions should be prepared and used immediately. When the dissolved solution is left for an extended period, its performance may gradually decline depending on water quality conditions.
