Fuling District, Chongqing, Signs 700,000-Ton Stainless Steel Deep Processing Project with Tsingshan Group On July 29, Fuling District and Tsingshan Group held a signing ceremony for the annual 700,000-ton stainless steel deep processing project. It is reported that the project has a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan, covers an area of about 400 acres, and is expected to achieve an annual output value of about 10 billion yuan upon reaching full production.
Baosteel Signs Another Key Project On July 15, Luyang District of Hefei City signed an agreement with Shanghai Baosteel International Economic and Trading Co., Ltd. for the Anhui Baosteel Steel Trade Co., Ltd. project. It is reported that Baosteel International is one of China's large-scale steel marketing and service platforms, with a mature marketing service network covering the country and a global business layout. The newly established Anhui Steel Trade in Luyang District will serve markets across Anhui and northern Jiangsu, with its main business covering the sales of metal materials and metal products.
Indonesia Guangqing Nickel-Cobalt Hydrometallurgical Project Signed Recently, Guangdong Provincial Guangxin Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Tsingshan Industrial officially signed the Indonesia Guangqing Nickel-Cobalt Hydrometallurgical Project. The project has a total investment of approximately $2 billion and is expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2026, with an estimated annual profit of 2 billion yuan upon reaching full production. It is reported that the Indonesia Nickel-Cobalt Hydrometallurgical Project, jointly promoted by Guangxin Group and Tsingshan Industrial, aims to build an international benchmark project with an annual output of 80,000 tons of nickel-cobalt intermediate products (nickel-cobalt hydroxide), providing stable resource support for the cathode materials of global ternary lithium batteries for new energy. The signing of these projects covers multiple fields, including stainless steel deep processing, digital and intelligent continuous casting machines, seamless steel pipe processing, high-bar production, silicon steel and titanium material industrial chains, and nickel-cobalt hydrometallurgy. Both in terms of investment scale and technological innovation, these initiatives demonstrate the steel industry's determination and actions to actively break through traditions, embrace change, and fully advance toward high-quality development, contributing new strength to the global steel industry's growth.
