Fully Digital V/F Converter Voltage-to-Frequency Conversion Module

This control board comes with a high-speed control chip that performs conversion of externally input DC 0-5V analog voltage, then controls the output pulse frequency based on the voltage level (with precision as high as 1Hz depending on the output frequency range). The output frequency range corresponding to the 0-5V input can be flexibly configured via the RS232 serial port (for example, 0-5V input can correspond to 0-1000Hz output; 0-5V input can correspond to 0-120,000Hz output; or 0-5V input can correspond to 0-1024Hz output, etc.). The maximum output pulse frequency can reach 200kHz (higher frequencies can also be customized).

The output frequency is calculated as follows:

Fout = (Vin ÷ 5) × Fmax

Where: Fout - frequency of the output pulse signal; Vin - current input voltage; Fmax - maximum output frequency corresponding to 5V voltage.

If the maximum output frequency corresponding to 5V voltage is set to 1000 Hz, then with an input voltage of 2.5V, the output frequency is Fout = (2.5 ÷ 5) × 1000 = 500 Hz;

If the maximum output frequency corresponding to 5V voltage is set to 120,000 Hz, then with an input voltage of 2.5V, the output frequency is Fout = (2.5 ÷ 5) × 120,000 = 60,000 Hz;

If the maximum output frequency corresponding to 5V voltage is set to 1024 Hz, then with an input voltage of 2.5V, the output frequency is Fout = (2.5 ÷ 5) × 1024 = 512 Hz;

The converted voltage and frequency values can be directly read via the serial port.
