Microcomputer Ash Melting Point Tester Instrument Structure:

1. This instrument consists of a computer, control box, and high-temperature furnace. See the figure below:

2. The computer motherboard is equipped with an image acquisition interface board.
3. The main unit contains a camera, temperature control components, and a single-chip microcomputer system.
4. The high-temperature furnace is a horizontal furnace, with silicon carbide tubes as the heating elements.

Microcomputer Ash Melting Point Tester Installation Method:

1. Place the instrument horizontally, carefully insert the silicon carbide tube into the corundum outer tube, then insert the corundum inner sleeve into the silicon carbide tube. Place asbestos ring grooves at both ends of the silicon carbide tube, allowing the asbestos ring grooves mounted on the outer baffle to secure the silicon carbide tube. Ensure the gap between the silicon carbide tube and the corundum outer tube is uniform; otherwise, adjust the asbestos plate. Then insert the corundum inner sleeve, and cover the observation hole and thermocouple cover.
2. Install electrode clamps on the aluminum-sprayed parts of the silicon carbide tube, connect the wires, and use connecting wires with porcelain beads to attach to the terminals below the furnace body. The part of the clamp close to the furnace body should be cut into a slotted shape to avoid contact with the furnace body and screws of the outer baffle to prevent short circuits.
3. Take out the camera and lens, install them on the camera bracket, unscrew the lens cap, and align the camera with the observation hole of the high-temperature furnace. Connect the camera power supply, attach the camera signal cable to the computer's video capture card, open the microcomputer ash melting point tester software or the video software provided with the capture card, and adjust the lens angle until a clear image is visible in the computer software observation window. Note: Maintain a distance of 15 cm between the camera and the high-temperature furnace observation hole to prevent damage from high temperatures.
4. Insert the thermocouple into the thermocouple cover hole, distinguish the positive and negative poles of the thermocouple wire, and insert them into the circuit board.
5. Open the capture card packaging box, take out the capture card, open the computer case, install the video capture card in an empty PCI slot, take the screws from the video capture card packaging box, securely fasten the video capture card to the case, connect the camera signal cable to the video capture card, insert the installation disk of the video capture card into the optical drive, install the video capture card driver, restart the computer, and complete the installation of the capture card software.
6. Connect the provided cable to a ~220V single-phase power source, then connect to the main control microcomputer using a serial communication cable.

Microcomputer Ash Melting Point Tester Operation Steps:

Click the "Start" button with the mouse. The "Start" menu will appear on the screen. Click "Microcomputer Ash Melting Point" under "Programs" in the "Start" menu or double-click the "Microcomputer Ash Melting Point" shortcut icon on the desktop to start the ash fusibility determination program. The main screen will be displayed.
