Experimental Method:

Working Principle:

The sample is burned and decomposed in a purified air stream at a temperature not lower than 1300°C in the presence of a catalyst. The generated sulfur dioxide is subjected to coulometric titration using iodine and bromine produced by electrolyzing potassium iodide and potassium bromide solutions. The electricity consumed in generating iodine and bromine is integrated by a coulometric integrator, which displays the milligram amount of sulfur contained in the sample.

Instructions for the Microcomputer Operation Section (Microcomputer Mode)

Press the blue "Direction Key" on the instrument panel while turning on the power to switch to the microcomputer mode. The setting is automatically saved after shutdown and defaults to microcomputer mode upon the next startup.

Steps for Installing the Sulfur Determination Instrument Software:

1. Hardware Installation: Connect the provided cable to a 220V single-phase power supply (the power cable should be larger than 4 square millimeters), then connect the serial communication cable to the main control microcomputer.
2. Software Installation: Insert the program CD into the CD drive, open the CD drive, and click the "Setup.exe" icon. The software will complete the installation automatically.
