System Test Menu:

Click Ignition Test, the MCU sends an ignition command to activate the ignition circuit. Used to test the ignition circuit.
Click Stirring Test, the MCU sends a stirring command to activate stirring. Used to test the stirring circuit.
Click Water Injection Test, the MCU sends a water injection command to drive the water injection pump to work.
Click Drainage Test, the MCU sends a drainage command to drive the drainage pump to work. Can be used to add water to the instrument's outer cylinder.
Click Stop Test to end all functional tests.
3. Accurately weigh 0.9-1.0g of analytical sample with particle size ≤ 0.2mm (accurate to 0.0002g) in the crucible; for oil products, weigh 0.3~0.5g. If testing samples prone to splashing or difficult to burn, wrap the weighed sample with lens paper of known mass and calorific value, press firmly by hand, and place it in the crucible. Use one piece of lens paper, place the sample on it, wrap it tightly, and press firmly. For particularly difficult-to-burn samples, benzoic acid can be used as an additive and the oxygen charging pressure increased to 3.2Mpa. If no additive is used, enter 0 or ignore.
4. Remove the oxygen bomb cap, place the bomb head part on the bomb head stand, and install both ends of the approximately 70mm long nickel-chromium ignition wire into the electrodes, ensuring good contact. Be careful not to let the ignition wire touch the crucible or the outer wall of the bomb cylinder to avoid short circuits, which could cause ignition failure. Tie a cotton thread at the middle position to make contact with the sample in the crucible.
5. Add 10 ml of distilled water to the bomb cup, carefully place the bomb head into the bomb cup, tighten the bomb cap, and then charge with oxygen until the pressure reaches 2.8-3.0MPa. The oxygen charging time must not be less than 15 seconds. When the oxygen pressure in the cylinder is below 5MPa, the charging time should be appropriately extended. If the pressure drops below 4.0 MPa, replace it with a new cylinder of oxygen.

6. Place the oxygen-filled bomb into the inner cylinder of the calorimeter, close the calorimeter lid, click the Calorific Value Determination button to start the calorific value test. Input the sample weight and begin the experiment. The process requires no manual intervention; results are automatically displayed and printed.

Click Calorific Value InputInput the weight, number, sulfur, hydrogen, water, and other experimental data of the weighed sample. Click Return to go back to the calorific value determination interface.

Heat Capacity Calibration:

Weigh 0.9~1.1g of benzoic acid, assemble the oxygen bomb, charge with oxygen for 15~45 seconds at a pressure of 2.8~3.2MPa, place it in the inner cylinder, click "Heat Capacity Determination", input the weight of the weighed benzoic acid. After more than ten minutes, the instrument prints the calibrated heat capacity E. Repeat this 5~6 times, calculate the average value, input and save it in the system. Perform calorific value tests on 1~2 benzoic acid samples, compare the bomb calorific value with the standard calorific value; if the error is less than 120J, the calibration is successful.

Click Heat Capacity Calibration, input the sample weight, and the calibration test begins. The process requires no manual intervention; results are automatically displayed and printed.
