Fully utilizing electronic technology and adopting a combination of computer and PLC, a set of upper computer software suitable for this equipment has been developed. In addition to an intuitive visual interface, this software also features hierarchical login, experimental operation, real-time analog monitoring, networked monitoring of the experimental process, parameter calibration, historical data query and printing, statistical analysis of test results, and many other functions.

The activity of lime refers to its ability to react with other substances in molten slag. It is represented by the melting speed of lime in molten slag. Usually, the reaction speed of lime with water is used to indicate this. Specifically, under standard atmospheric pressure, the number of milliliters of 4mol/L HCl aqueous solution consumed by 50 grams of lime dissolved in constant-temperature water at 40 degrees Celsius within 10 minutes is defined as the activity of lime. Currently, the average lime activity can generally exceed 300ml/4mol/L HCl, which can significantly shorten the initial slagging time of steelmaking converters, reduce lime consumption per ton of steel, and is extremely beneficial for early dephosphorization.

Currently, lime activity in China is generally measured manually, which has poor standardization and involves many human factors, leading to inaccurate measurement results and low efficiency. Additionally, contact with acid mist poses certain dangers. This equipment can effectively solve the above-mentioned problems.

Steelmaking practice shows that this type of lime can improve dephosphorization and desulfurization efficiency by 80%, while shortening the smelting time. It can completely react with acidic substances in molten steel within 3-5 minutes, whereas the reaction time of ordinary lime takes at least 6-10 minutes. Furthermore, it increases furnace lining life by more than 40% and reduces consumable consumption by 5-8kg/t of steel. Based on an annual production of 10 million tons, it saves about 15 million yuan per year, demonstrating significant production benefits.

1. After the sample is loaded, start the automatic control test mode. The system enters the test state, automatically detects the pH value, and adjusts the titration of acid solution via a metering pump controlled by the PLC based on the pH value. The entire test process is automatically controlled, and the activity value is automatically calculated. The system automatically stops after the test is completed.

2. When connected to an upper computer, it can plot a time-activity curve online and print test reports.

3. This system allows modification of system parameters via computer;

4. Dynamically displays the motion status of various parts of the system and the operating status of the PLC and upper computer;
