The RE1600 Transcellular Electrical Resistance Meter is a compact instrument specifically designed for measuring transepithelial/transendothelial electrical resistance (TEER) and potential difference (PD), serving as a domestic alternative to imported counterparts.
Using a small, hands-free chopstick-style electrode, the RE1600 conveniently enables rapid measurements of epithelial or endothelial cell tissues in Transwell inserts.
With specialized electrodes, the RE1600 can also measure native or cultured epithelial tissues mounted in Ussing chambers.
