UV Weathering Test

Introduction

UV weathering resistance testing is an accelerated aging test method primarily used to evaluate the weatherability and stability of materials and products when exposed long-term to environmental factors such as solar ultraviolet radiation, temperature fluctuations, and humidity. This test simulates the ultraviolet portion of natural sunlight and combines moisture condensation or water spray to replicate the effects of dew and rain, thereby quickly reproducing the aging effects that may occur after months or even years of outdoor exposure.
