Dustproof and Waterproof Test

Introduction:

The dustproof and waterproof test is conducted using a water dripping test device, also known as the 15° tilt water dripping test. The IP rating system provides a method to classify products based on the degree of protection against dust, water, and impact for electrical equipment and packaging. This system is recognized by most European countries and is declared in the IEC 529 (EN 60529:1992) standard for Ingress Protection (IP code).

Dust protection range: Level 1 to Level 6 (IP rating)

Water protection range: Level 1 to Level 8 (IP rating)
