The HS400 Planetary Ball Mill is a stable, high-performance instrument capable of grinding samples down to the micron/nanometer level. It is suitable for grinding (dry or wet grinding) and mixing soft, medium-hard, hard, and brittle samples, with uniform and reproducible grinding results. Operating Principle

When the instrument is started, the electric motor drives the common sun wheel to rotate. The grinding jars, eccentrically positioned on the sun wheel, rotate in the opposite direction. The grinding jars, grinding balls, and samples are subjected to the combined motion of the sun wheel's revolution and the jars' counter-rotation, along with the influence of rotational deflection forces. This generates significant kinetic energy in the grinding balls, causing them and the samples to follow different trajectories, resulting in continuous strong impact and friction for highly efficient grinding and crushing.

l (1) Planetary wheel adopts a double-locking mechanism: high-pressure insertion into the groove followed by bottom screw cap locking. Prevents disconnection even under high input capacity, eliminating accidents.

l (2) Lift cover equipped with an electronic lock for safety and reliability; the mill cannot operate when the door is open.

l (3) Grinding jar fixing handle features an anti-backlash gear design, preventing loosening even during high-speed operation. To remove the jar, simply lift the release valve for easy detachment.
