PAPE Polyol Phosphate Ester
PAPE polyol phosphate ester is a novel water treatment agent with excellent scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition properties. The introduction of multiple polyoxyethylene groups into the molecule not only enhances its corrosion inhibition performance but also improves its ability to inhibit calcium scale and disperse sludge. PAPE increases the non-ionic surfactant properties of the product, making it particularly suitable for oily cooling water treatment in refineries. (Especially recommended as a substitute for Nalco Visco 953)
Product Performance
(1) When used simultaneously with quaternary ammonium biocides, PAPE BP-8W37 does not easily form complex precipitates like organic phosphates and polycarboxylic acids, which would reduce the efficacy of both agents;
(2) It exhibits excellent inhibition against barium and strontium scale deposition in water, which are difficult to control with existing domestic scale inhibitors;
(3) PAPE BP-8W37 has outstanding scale inhibition effects on the deposition of insoluble salts such as calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate;
(4) It provides cathodic protection for steel, with corrosion inhibition effects superior to existing domestic similar products;
(5) PAPE BP-8W37 mixes well with water stabilizers such as polycarboxylates, organic phosphonates, inorganic phosphates, and zinc salts;
(6) PAPE BP-8W37 has unique adsorption-desorption properties, making it particularly suitable as a scale inhibitor and dispersant in oilfield water injection;
(7) It has a unique effect on stabilizing zinc ions in cooling water;
(8) It has low toxicity and can naturally degrade within 3-4 days after discharge, causing no environmental pollution.

Safety Protection: This product is an acidic liquid. Pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water if contact occurs. Friendly Reminder: For specific product performance and dosage ratios, please consult our company's relevant technical personnel! | |
Usage: Varies depending on water quality and process conditions. When used as a scale inhibitor, the general dosage of PAPE is 5-15 mg/L; when used as a closed-cycle corrosion inhibitor, it can be as high as 150 mg/L or more.
Application Fields
PAPE can be used in circulating cooling water systems such as steel plants, refineries, power plants, oilfield reinjection water, chemical plants, fertilizer plants, air conditioning systems, and copper heat exchangers. It serves as a scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, particularly suitable for circulating water systems with severe process material leakage and corrosion, as well as for scale inhibition during oilfield water injection operations.
