The NSA3182 is a highly integrated control chip designed for pyroelectric infrared (PIR) sensors. It incorporates all essential components required for passive infrared motion detection. The analog front-end can be directly connected to analog PIR detectors via capacitive coupling. It features a built-in 3V LDO to power the PIR detector, along with a high-precision analog-to-digital converter that converts detector signals into digital data. The motion detection unit employs algorithms to distinguish moving heat sources, enhancing system anti-interference capability, and supports relay output. Both sensor sensitivity threshold and alarm duration can be adjusted via external resistors.
