I reviewed the origin of the name "womb chair" again. To talk about its origin, we have to mention the design requirements. It is said that Florence Knoll asked Eero Saarinen to design a chair that people can curl up completely in, a chair like a basket filled with pillows (isn't it reminiscent of Le Corbusier's LC series, LC2 SOFA and LC3 SOFA). Undoubtedly, the classic Womb Chair has fulfilled this design intention. It supports various sitting and lying postures, providing a harbor for total relaxation.
Tribute to the classic — the Womb Chair, a timeless classic leisure lounge chair.
