In 1934, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand designed an extra-wide sofa for his apartment at 24 Rue Nungesser et Coli in Paris. This was a ground-floor apartment that he and his wife Yvonne moved into, which was divided into a studio and a private apartment.
