Zinc oxide arrester is an electrical product used to protect various electrical equipment in the power system from damage caused by overvoltage, offering excellent protective performance. To verify whether the performance of the zinc oxide arrester is normal, we have developed the zinc oxide arrester tester in a timely manner. This is a specialized instrument used for on-site and laboratory testing of various electrical parameters of arresters. It is widely applied in on-site online monitoring (live testing) and laboratory (outage maintenance) testing of zinc oxide arresters. It complies with the requirements of the power industry standard "DL474.5—92 Field Insulation Test Implementation Guide—Arrester Test".
This instrument adopts high-precision sampling and processing circuits controlled by a high-speed microcomputer, along with advanced Fourier harmonic analysis technology, ensuring data reliability. It can measure the total current, resistive current, third harmonic current, fifth harmonic current, seventh harmonic current, fundamental voltage, active power, and the phase difference between voltage and current of the zinc oxide arrester under power frequency voltage. This helps determine the moisture ingress in the MOA insulation and the aging degree of the valve plates.
The voltage measurement signal is transmitted wirelessly, eliminating the hassle of laying long voltage measurement lines due to the distance between the arrester and the PT.
The device features a large-screen color LCD display, full Chinese menu prompts for operation, and print output, enhancing human-machine interaction. This instrument is characterized by simple wiring, high measurement accuracy, and strong reliability.
