Introduction

      When calibrating a Capacitive Voltage Transformer (CVT), the test frequency must be conducted under 50Hz conditions. Meanwhile, due to complex on-site geographical conditions, traditional testing devices can hardly meet the requirements for field transportation and testing. The NDCXZ CVT Test Resonant Step-up Device is an adjustable resonant device used for on-site calibration and has been widely applied in the field calibration of 500kV and below capacitive voltage transformers in China.

Technical Parameters

☆、Good output voltage and current waveform with a distortion rate of less than 0.5%;

☆、Small capacitance required; the power capacity needed is 1/Q of the test capacity, and the Q value can reach 20 to 60;

☆、No overvoltage protection needed; when the test sample breaks down, the system detunes, the resonant high voltage disappears, and the reactor immediately limits the short-circuit current without exacerbating damage to the test sample;

☆、Easy field transportation; the device is a dry-type combined series resonant device composed of an excitation transformer and multiple resonant reactors. Each unit is compact, lightweight, and easy to move, making it suitable for on-site use;

☆、Comprehensive protection functions, including zero-position protection (system startup is prohibited when the voltage output control knob is not at zero), overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, flashover protection, etc., ensuring system reliability.
