HY-D03D Type Skin Test Apparatus

I. Basic Principles of Huayi HY-D03D Skin Test Apparatus Iontophoresis uses electric current to drive charged drug components through the skin under the force of the electric field, while uncharged components can be transported via electroosmosis. Drugs can enter the body through appendages such as hair follicles, sebaceous glands, and sweat glands, or directly penetrate intact skin. Drug delivery through the skin can overcome two major issues associated with drug injections:

(1) Pain and fear;

(2) Potential infections and accidental injuries caused by skin puncture.

This instrument uses a chip for precise control and employs D-specific medium-frequency pulses and designed waveforms to complete drug delivery. Compared to traditional DC iontophoresis, this instrument offers the following advantages:

(1) Effectively eliminates electrolysis, avoiding skin damage;

(2) Effectively eliminates the hindering effect of polarization electric fields on drug delivery;

(3) Effectively improves blood circulation, thereby promoting drug delivery.

II. Precautions: This instrument must not be used for treatment in individuals with bleeding tendencies, acute suppurative inflammation, malignant tumors locally, metal implants locally, near the heart, the abdomen of pregnant women, the temples, those using implantable electronic devices (e.g., pacemakers), or those intolerant to electric current.

The effective load resistance of this product is 500Ω. The above technical parameters should be measured under this load resistance (with an error not exceeding ±10%), and the measured values should not deviate by more than ±30% from the pulse width, pulse repetition frequency, and amplitude values specified in the accompanying documents or marked on the device;

This product mainly consists of the main unit, output electrode plates, therapy leads, power cord, and fixing straps;
