CFA009 Series Reciprocating Plucker

This machine serves as the first process in the opening and cleaning line, designed to pluck various grades of raw cotton, as well as chemical and viscose fibers up to 76mm in length. Equipped with a beater, the plucking arm can move vertically and automatically rotate 180 degrees. As the plucking arm moves back and forth along the tower, it performs fine plucking on cotton bales. The small cotton tufts plucked are then transported via pneumatic conveying through ducts to the next opening and cleaning equipment for further processing.

With two plucking beaters, regardless of whether the plucking carriage moves forward or backward, one beater always plucks in the forward direction while the other plucks in reverse. A motor-driven beater suspension mechanism lifts the reverse-plucking beater, with the lifting height adjustable as needed to prevent excessive plucking depth. This ensures that the workload is balanced between the two beaters during operation, reducing wear on components such as belts and bearings. The dual-saw beaters, which float up and down, pluck cotton tufts that are uniform in size and low in dispersion, meeting the requirement of fine, small, and even plucking from the very beginning of the blowing-carding process. The incremental descent of the plucking arm can be steplessly adjusted within the range of 0.1-19.9mm per cycle. The traveling speed of the plucking carriage during operation is 5-16m/min with variable frequency speed control.
