Working Principle

When the handwheel of the U41SM flanged plunger valve is rotated, the plunger is driven by the valve stem to move up and down within the orifice frame, completing the valve's opening and closing functions. The plunger and sealing ring in the valve employ an interference fit. By adjusting the flange bolts on the gland, the lateral force generated by compressing the sealing ring seals against the valve body's inner bore surface and the plunger's outer circle, ensuring the valve's sealing performance and eliminating internal leakage. Additionally, the valve requires a small opening torque, enabling smooth opening and closing. The sealing ring is made of a new elastic and highly durable sealing material, which maintains its elasticity under long-term high temperature and high pressure conditions, ensuring long-lasting and reliable sealing performance.
