Clay sculpture

This clay sculpture is one of the sculptural products of Wenzhou Junhui Tourism Culture Development Co., Ltd. in Lingxi Town, Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Clay sculpture is an ancient and common form of Chinese folk art, which involves shaping clay into various figures through traditional handmade techniques. The production method is extremely simple: first, a small amount of cotton fiber is mixed into the clay and thoroughly kneaded. Then, the clay is shaped into various figures to form the base. Next, the base is air-dried, coated with a primer, and finally painted with colors. Moreover, in ancient Chinese history, this type of clay sculpture was also known as "color sculpture." To this day, it remains highly favored by many sculptural artists because it symbolizes the long-standing tradition of sculptural culture in ancient Chinese history.
