Trichloroethylene

Chinese and English Name: Trichloroethylene; Trichloroethylene

Physical and Chemical Properties: Colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquid with excellent properties such as non-flammability, strong solvency, moderate boiling point, and good chemical stability. It is poorly soluble in water and has a pungent sweet odor.

Uses: Used industrially as a degreasing agent for metals and leather, a solvent for resins, cellulose, and rubber, a dry-cleaning agent for woolen fabrics and plants. Widely used as a solvent and extractant for organic substances in the organic synthesis industry, for synthesizing tetrachloroethylene, octachlorodipropyl ether, dichloroacetyl chloride, F134a, propyl naphthylacetic acid, 2,4-D, 2,4,5-T, and plasticizers, among others. Applied as a heat transfer medium for low temperatures and as a polymerization regulator for various monomers.

Packaging and Storage: Packed in 250kg galvanized drums, net weight 250kg; drum lids must be tightly sealed to prevent leakage; handle with care during loading and unloading, avoid impact to prevent packaging damage; store in a well-ventilated, dry warehouse, keep away from water.
