Application Reference for Water-based Zinc-rich Primer:
1. Surface Treatment: Clean oil stains from the steel surface, then use shot blasting or sandblasting methods to remove mill scale and rust. After cleaning, re-inspect and remove any residual impurities to ensure the surface is clean and dust-free.
2. Mixing the Primer: Mix the base material and zinc powder in the specified ratio, slowly pouring the zinc powder into the base material while stirring continuously. After mixing, let it sit for 30 minutes for maturation.
3. Application Method: Apply using air spraying or brushing. Before spraying, the coating should be filtered through an 80-100 mesh metal sieve to ensure uniformity and quality.
4. Maturation and Storage: The mixed coating should be placed as specified and allowed to mature. Storage time should not exceed 24 hours. Application temperature should be above 5°C, with relative humidity below 85%, ensuring ventilation. Do not use on rainy days.
