The small-scale activation furnace for activated carbon is an experimental device used in laboratories for the preparation of activated carbon. This equipment simulates the process of large-scale rotary activation furnaces and is scientifically designed and developed. The small-scale activation furnace is suitable for research institutions and manufacturers' R&D personnel to conduct process research, formulation testing, and other scientific preparation activities related to activated carbon.

Performance Features:
Working Principle:
Under specific conditions, the prepared carbonized material is placed in the small-scale activation furnace. The test rotary furnace is started, the heating program is set, and the activator dosage is configured. Activation is carried out at a certain temperature. The carbonized material is activated in the rotary furnace under high temperature and the action of the activator until the designed activation time is reached. After stopping activation and sealing for cooling, the activated material is removed, completing the activation test.
The small-scale activation furnace consists of: variable frequency motor, rotary furnace body, heating elements, mechanical transmission, temperature system, and activator generation system.

Precautions for Using the Activated Carbon Small-Scale Activation Furnace:
1. This equipment is a high-power, high-temperature heating device. During installation, use appropriate power cables and ensure safe grounding. When heating up, design and adjust heating parameters to gradually increase temperature. After reaching the set temperature, adjust the activator dosage before starting the activation test.
2. During activation, a certain amount of smoke will be generated. The equipment should be placed indoors to protect the experimental environment.
3. Operators should wear high-temperature resistant gloves when handling the ignition tube to avoid burns.
4.In case of equipment failure, a professional electrical engineer should inspect the circuit and control parts. Only after troubleshooting should operators resume experiments.
Configuration:
Method:
1.Installed by the operator. After passing the test, power the transmission part and run for 5 minutes. Then heat to 500°C and maintain for 30 minutes. Raise the furnace temperature to 900°C, maintain for 10 minutes, and shut down.
2.Add qualified carbonized material and start the machine. Raise the furnace temperature to 300°C and introduce the required steam into the furnace. The steam volume depends on requirements. Then raise the furnace temperature to 900°C (heating time: 2-3 hours). The activation time at 900°C depends on product requirements (longer activation time for higher adsorption value, shorter for lower adsorption value). After meeting requirements, turn off the heating system, maintain rotation speed and steam volume. When the furnace temperature drops to 500°C, turn off the steam. When it drops to 300°C, turn off the rotation system. Allow the furnace to cool to room temperature, remove the sample, and clean the system.
