Product Uses:
Used as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals and dyes. The pesticide chlorfenapyr, produced from o-chlorobenzaldehyde, controls mites on dry crops and fruit trees. O-chlorobenzaldehyde can be oximated to yield o-chlorobenzaldoxime, which can be further chlorinated to produce o-chlorobenzaldoxime, both of which are pharmaceutical intermediates.
