Rosin

Main Components: Abietic acid and abietyl anhydride.
Appearance: Light yellow to yellow-brown, transparent amorphous lumps with slight luster.
Properties: Rosin appears as light yellow to yellow-red transparent amorphous lumps with a glossy surface, brittle texture, and a distinctive odor. It is insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol, acetone, benzene, carbon disulfide, turpentine, oils, and alkaline solutions. It is highly flammable.
Uses: Rosin is primarily used as a raw material for various phenolic and anhydride resin coatings, as well as a softening agent for reclaimed rubber. It is widely applied in industries such as papermaking, paint, pharmaceuticals, printing and dyeing, coatings, and textiles. It possesses properties such as moisture resistance, corrosion inhibition, insulation, emulsification, and adhesion, making it an important chemical raw material.

Storage and Transportation: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, isolated from heat sources and open flames. During storage and transportation, take precautions to prevent fire and heat exposure, and avoid strong impacts that may cause deformation or damage to the iron drums.
