VAE Emulsion 1318

Celvolit 1318 is a non-plasticized, copolymer dispersion emulsion.

Characteristics: Excellent compatibility with cement, excellent elongation, high strength, environmentally friendly, ammonia-free and APEO-free, excellent mixability and workability.

Storage and Transportation: A preservative is added to the dispersion during manufacturing to prevent microbial growth. However, improper storage conditions can pose a risk of microbial contamination. Therefore, storage tanks and pipeline systems should be kept adequately clean. The storage period for Celvolit 1318 should not exceed 6 months at storage temperatures between 5 and 25°C. It is essential to protect the emulsion from freezing and direct sunlight. To ensure safe storage of Celvolit 1318, containers must remain tightly sealed to prevent water evaporation and surface skinning. Storage duration and conditions may cause changes in the technical properties of the emulsion. This can lead to deviations between its performance and the provided technical specifications.

Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection: Celvolit 1318 is water-based and does not fall under the hazardous substance categories indicated in the current hazardous substances regulations. Nevertheless, general safety precautions should be observed when handling polymers. Protective gloves and goggles should be worn, and the work area should be adequately ventilated.
