Used as a lubricant additive and plasticizer, adhesive, antifoaming agent, surfactant. Also used in processing artificial rose oil, neroli and acacia-type fragrances. In food flavors, it can be used for cream, sweet orange, coconut, lemon, and various fruit flavors, but the dosage is usually very low.
