Product Description: Carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex is a ternary copolymer produced by emulsion polymerization of butadiene, styrene, and unsaturated carboxylic acid. It retains the properties of styrene-butadiene latex, and due to the introduction of the polar group—carboxyl (which enhances bonding performance), it exhibits higher film-forming strength and adhesion. It offers excellent stability, fluidity, high filling capacity, good moldability, and outstanding mechanical, chemical, and freeze-thaw stability. It is also compatible with pigments and fillers.
Physical Properties: Carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex is a milky white aqueous dispersion with a bluish luster and a very faint odor. It has excellent compatibility and can be used in combination with styrene-acrylic latex, vinyl acetate-acrylic latex, starch, polyvinyl alcohol, CMC, and other adhesives.
