Chemical properties: White or yellowish-white powder.

Melting point 226°C (turns brown), decomposes at 234-238°C. The commonly used crude product is a gray to gray-brown powder with a specific odor. Easily soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid.

Enramycin is a polypeptide antibiotic that has good antibacterial effects against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Clostridium. Adding enramycin to livestock and poultry feed can improve diarrhea and bloating, significantly increase weight gain, and improve feed conversion ratio.

Product features:

1. Enramycin exhibits good antibacterial effects against Gram-positive bacteria under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions, particularly against Clostridium perfringens, which is a major cause of growth inhibition and necrotic enteritis in pigs, chickens, and rabbits.

2. Currently, there is no cross-resistance to enramycin, and resistance develops very slowly. No enramycin-resistant Clostridium perfringens has been isolated so far.

3. Since enramycin is not absorbed in the intestines, there is no concern about drug residues, and no withdrawal period is required.

4. Enramycin remains stable in feed and retains its activity even during the pelleting process.

5. It treats necrotic enteritis and improves bloating and diarrhea in broilers, laying hens, pigs, ducks, rabbits, and aquatic products.

Usage effects:

1. Adding enramycin to piglet feed can reduce diarrhea in piglets. Using enramycin during the growing phase of pigs can effectively improve feed conversion ratio and increase farming benefits. Continuous use during the lactation phase of sows can increase milk production and weaning weight of piglets.

2. Using enramycin in chicken feed can reduce the occurrence of enteritis and watery feces, improve feed digestibility, promote growth, and reduce the feed-to-meat ratio. In laying hens, it helps maintain body weight, ensuring peak egg production and preventing a decline in egg-laying rates. Additionally, enramycin enhances the anti-coccidial activity of coccidiostats, reduces the incidence of coccidiosis, and lowers ammonia concentration in chicken coops, improving the environment.

3. It improves bloating and diarrhea in rabbits, enhances their appetite, and increases their weight.

Usage methods:

1. Prevention and treatment of rabbit bloating: Mix enramycin into feed at 400g-500g per ton, continuously for 10 days (must not be less than 10 days) for noticeable effects. 400g is sufficient for prevention, and 500g for treatment.

2. For chickens: Add enramycin at 100g-350g per ton of feed continuously to improve feed conversion ratio. For treating enteritis, use 350g per ton of complete feed for 5-7 days, then switch to a preventive dose of 250g per ton for another 15 days until stable. If there is a mixed infection with coccidiosis, combine with coccidiostats for better results.

3. For piglets: Add enramycin at 200-350g per ton, combined with drugs against Gram-negative bacteria, to effectively control diarrhea. For sows: Use enramycin at 500g per ton for emergency treatment of bloating caused by Clostridium novyi. For fattening pigs: Add 65-250g per ton of complete feed to promote growth and improve feed conversion ratio. For lactating sows: Add 200-250g per ton of complete feed to increase milk production.
