Magnesium hydroxide, with the English name Magnesium hydroxide. Magnesium hydroxide, a white amorphous powder. It can be used in sugar production and the manufacture of magnesium oxide, among other applications. Because magnesium hydroxide is relatively abundant in nature and its chemical properties are similar to those of aluminum, users have begun to replace aluminum chloride with magnesium hydroxide in personal care products. It is used as an analytical reagent and also in the pharmaceutical industry.
