Properties and Applications:
This product is a colorless transparent oily liquid with a slight aromatic odor, relative density (d2020) 1.045, and possesses strong dissolving ability.
It exhibits excellent compatibility with most organic solvents and hydrocarbons, such as nitrocellulose and polystyrene.
This product serves as a primary plasticizer for cellulose resins and polyvinyl chloride. It is particularly suitable for nitrocellulose coatings, offering excellent solubility, dispersibility, and adhesion, with good flexibility and stability of the paint film.
It has good compatibility with pigments and is used in colored films, artificial leather, and other plastic products. It can also be used as a plasticizer and softener for polyvinyl chloride, alkyd resins, ethyl cellulose, and chloroprene rubber to improve the resilience of the products.
