Jiangsu Du'an Environmental Protection GSJ/QSJ series curved surface mixers, as efficient mixing equipment, are suitable for mixing various low-viscosity liquids, solid-liquid, and gas-liquid mixtures. They are not only applicable to circular and square tanks but are also commonly used in rectangular tanks with unit arrangements.
In various sewage treatment processes in China, impeller mixers primarily overcome the shortcomings of traditional paddle mixers, such as dead zones and poor gas-liquid mixing in aeration processes, leveraging their advantages in uniform mixing. The main features are reflected in the following aspects:
⑴ Can be used in various scenarios involving liquid-solid and gas mixing, replacing existing mixing equipment to achieve three-dimensional, spiral mixing, resulting in more uniform mixing and improved efficiency.
⑵ The impeller has a large specific surface area, requires low power配置, generates high water flow circulation, consumes low energy, and saves 30%-50% energy compared to traditional mixing methods.
⑶ The entire machine has a compact structure, reliable operation, and convenient installation and maintenance.

I. Application Range
The GSJ/QSJ series double-curved surface mixers are currently developed products of our company. They are widely used in environmental protection, chemical, energy, light industry, and other sectors where solid, liquid, and gas exchange in liquids is required, especially in sewage treatment processes such as coagulation tanks, regulation tanks, anaerobic tanks, aeration tanks, nitrification and denitrification tanks, and mixing and blending of various abrasive and high-temperature media.
II. Structure Overview
Double-curved surface mixers can be divided into two types based on installation method: GDJ type (dry type) and QDJ type (submersible type).
The GSJ type double-curved surface mixer consists of a reduction motor, shock absorption seat, mixing shaft, double-curved surface impeller, electrical control box, and bridge frame (can be provided by the user). The QDJ type double-curved surface mixer consists of a frame, lifting steel cable, main unit, double-curved surface impeller, and electrical control box.
III. Transportation and Storage
1. During transportation, the mixing shaft and impeller must not be受压 or collided. Lifting equipment should be used for loading and unloading, and the impeller surface should be protected from scratches.
2. For long-term storage, avoid high-temperature and high-humidity environments. The mixing shaft should be hung vertically, and the impeller should be placed on a flat surface to prevent deformation.
IV. Installation
GDJ Series Installation Steps
1. The bridge frame should be leveled, and the bridge frame columns should be垂直 corrected. Anchor bolts and connection parts should be坚固可靠.
2. Place the shock absorption seat flat on the designated position of the bridge frame, level it, and connect and fix it to the bridge frame.
3. Install the reduction motor on the shock absorption seat and connect and fix it.
4. Connect and tighten the impeller and mixing shaft flange with bolts.
5. Place the impeller and mixing shaft into the tank, connect and tighten the mixing shaft to the output shaft of the reduction motor. If there is water, first connect the shaft and impeller and place them in the water, then connect the shaft to the reduction motor.
6. After installation, the mixing shaft must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The vertical deviation should be less than 1/1000.
7. After installation, remove the motor tail cover, manually rotate the fan blades, and check if the mixer rotates灵活 and normally. The摆动 deviation of the mixing shaft should be less than 3/1000.
8. After connecting the power supply, briefly operate to observe the rotation direction of the mixing shaft. The correct rotation direction, when viewed from above, is counterclockwise. If not, swap any two power supply wires.
9. Electrical equipment installation must comply with national regulations and safety procedures.
QDJ Series Installation Steps
1. Briefly operate on land to observe the impeller rotation direction. The correct rotation direction, when viewed from above, is counterclockwise. If not, swap any two power supply wires.
2. Separate and fix the motor cable and lifting cable. Do not bundle the cable and steel rope together. Prevent the steel rope and cable from being entangled in the impeller.
3. Use a crane to lift the double-curved surface and slowly lower it to the designated position in the tank, taking care not to hit the tank wall.
4. Fix one end of the固定绳索 on the bank and connect the cable to the electrical control cabinet.
V. Operation
After installation, the equipment must undergo a trial run. Before the trial run, fill the tank with approximately 70% of its volume with water. Do not operate the equipment without water to avoid bending the mixing shaft due to uneven force. After the trial run, check the following:
1. Whether there are abnormal noises and temperature rise in the reduction motor.
2. Whether the motor current is within the rated range (a short-term overcurrent during startup is normal).
3. The摆动 of the mixing shaft.
4. Whether there are杂物 in the tank.
If any abnormal conditions occur in the above aspects, identify the cause and correct it before use.
VI. Maintenance
1. After the first 200–300 hours of operation, replace the reduction gear lubricating oil and clean internal oil sludge. Subsequently, replace it every six months to a year. For details on the use of the reduction motor, refer to the manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual.
2. Regularly check whether the mixing shaft lock nut and various connection bolts are loose.
3. Regularly check the摆动 of the mixing shaft and promptly remove any entanglements on the impeller and shaft.
4. Regularly check for abnormal noises and temperature rise in rotating parts.
5. Regularly check for abnormal changes in current.
6. Before restarting after prolonged inactivity, check the motor's insulation and prevent sediment accumulation from causing difficult startup and damaging the motor and impeller.
7. Record all inspections. If abnormalities occur, contact our company.
